COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION
STILL & MOVING IMAGES FOR CONTEST/EXHIBITION
- The company/organizers, collectively Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd. and as an acting distributor for the brands agencies, we reserve the absolute rights to accept/reject your work (image(s)/video(s) for a contest/exhibition (and/or reposting on social media [Facebook, IG & U-Tube] platforms) that we manage, operate and own collectively.
1.2 All submission of images/clips for a contest/exhibition must be the original creation of the participant (photographer/videographer) and own the copyright of the image(s)/clips, unless written authorization from the creator and/or proprietary owner is provided at the time of verification to avoid any disputes later. That you are the original photographer /videographer and that these images/clips do not infringe upon any third-party rights. Any accompanying back ground music for a video must be legally obtained and valid for the duration of use of the video. Where applicable, participant/photographer must hold a model release for model(s) and/ or property included in the image(s). Should any subject person be a minor (Age of Majority Act 1971- below than 18 years old), to be included in the image(s)/clips, consent must be obtained from parent /guardian and/or to use the image(s)/clips. Should the participant/photographer fail to fulfil this clause, shall indemnify the company/organizers for all damages incurred, if any.
1.3 Any form of digital manipulation, color grading and presentation is at the discretion of the photographer/videographer. An image/video should not be manipulated such that the visual will be deemed unrealistic and/or untruthful. All images/videos may be required to submit to the company/organizers upon notice thereto, the working project files with the relevant source materials with full EXIF/meta-data for verification purposes, failing which the image(s)/video(s) will not be accepted.
1.4 Copy right of the image(s)/video(s) remains with the photographer/videographer. Credit shall be given for an image and/or video exhibited and/or posted on social media (Facebook, IG & U-Tube). By participating/submitting to this invitation to a contest/open submission, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as per para 1.2 above.
- EXHIBITION
2.1 The Organizers reserve the absolute rights to exhibit or reproduce any acceptable images (entries) in whatever way deemed fit for exhibition(s) and for any print-based publicity and promotional purposes without prior notice, consent or payment of fee whatsoever to the entrants. The rights to use of images shall be for a period of two (2) years from the date of the results/winners are announced. This term & condition is clearly stated in Rules & Regulations of a contest, during an official announcement of a contest and prior to any acceptance of entries/submissions.
- PRIVACY NOTICE
3.1 Organizer of this contest/open call submission, the committee of Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd/agents for the purpose of administration, we will only collect and use your personal data information in accordance with the relevant data protection laws (including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010). We value your privacy and strive to protect your personal information such as: your name, NCIR number, email address, postal address and telephone number, in compliance with the laws of Malaysia. By participating and providing your information to us, you consent to us processing your personal information in accordance with this clause and you confirm that all personal information provided by you is accurate and complete.
- DISCLAIMER
4.1 By participating in this contest/open call submission, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations as well as the decisions made by the Organizers and the panel of judges. In addition, he/she have read and understood the rules and regulations of the contest and the terms and conditions (COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION) stated above and will adhere to these rules and regulations.
4.2 By signing/participating in this contest/open call submission, you agree that Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd and agents/organizers of this event shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to property, accident, injury or death, whether direct or indirectly, caused by attending this event. And you shall abide to the rules, terms and conditions of this contest/open call submission as posted.
